Restore

We all have old photos.

Treasured ones of our childhood, or further back of our family.

They might be black and white prints, slides, polaroids, even old negatives.

Wouldn’t it be great to restore and digitise them?

These photos belong to a friend who asked for help restoring her parents wedding prints.

I also made them a wedding album; which they never had before.

There were dust spots, scratches and fine fibres from the scans to be cleaned away.

Even though some images were not in focus when they were taken, the overall feel they captured brings the day to life for her parents.

A client wanted to restore his favourite childhood photos and create a book.

The book was for his mother to keep by her beside at her care residence. Carers and visitors alike could share in conversation with her. Helping her to keep those memories alive.

The photos above are some from her book that have been painstakingly restored.

If you have an idea send me the details via the contact form.

Restoring your photos could mean you share them with wider family or even make a personal book.

I love the idea of putting all the remembered details of a photo below or beside it in a personal book.

Details like names, the location and when and why it was taken.

Forever putting the story of what is remembered in context with the image. So the stories can live on for following generations.

Your project could range from a large collection to a small but precious few.

We can talk about the possibilities and I can provide a custom quote for you
